Blue Forty is a full-service architectural firm based in Bend, Oregon. The name nods to blue-collar 40-hour workweeks and the founder’s roots in a family-run HVAC business, reflecting a hands-on, hardworking approach.
Made up of outdoorsy, adventurous professionals, the team wanted a brand and website that felt human, approachable, and clearly distinct from traditional, corporate architecture firms.

We created a visual identity inspired by classic workwear name patches, complemented by playful illustrations and cheeky taglines. The system balances grit, playfulness, and simplicity, capturing both the craft and personality behind the practice.
