Blue Forty is a full-service architectural firm working across scales—from product design to urban infrastructure. Rose Garden was tasked with creating a visual identity and website that set them apart from their more traditional, corporate competitors.
Blue-collar origins and an Oregon spirit
The name “Blue Forty” nods to the founder’s roots in a family-run HVAC business, blue-collar values, and a 40-hour workweek. The team is made up of outdoorsy, adventurous professionals who love getting their hands dirty. We aimed to reflect their “work hard, play hard” culture and Oregon spirit through every brand touchpoint.
Workwear-Inspired, Adventure-Approved
We designed a logo inspired by classic workwear name patches and built a system of playful illustrations and cheeky taglines. The identity balances grit with simplicity, professional but never stiff, creative without being chaotic.
A Digital Experience That Works (and Plays) HarD
The website captures the brand’s dual nature: fun and functional. Through subtle motion, clean UX, and clear storytelling, the site offers a digital experience that feels approachable, polished, and distinctly Blue Forty.
